Victorian Milk Glass & Tinsel Beaded Applique Pin (1890s)
This exquisite 1890s Victorian passementerie applique pin is a stunning example of intricate handwork. The piece, measuring approximately 2 1/8″ x 2″, features a white muslin backing adorned with rows of iridescent mother-of-pearl, gold and silver metal tinsel, white milk glass beads, and red glass beads. It is outlined in fine silver-washed brass twisted wire. Despite its diminutive size, the pin is in very good original condition, complete with a pin and C clasp. A true marvel from a bygone era.
