Vintage 1930s Art Deco Shell Cameo Brooch & Pendant – Filigree Frame
This exquisite vintage Art Deco cameo brooch dates back to the 1930s. Crafted from a carved shell, it features the profile of a young woman with a characteristic short bob hairstyle and draped bodice, typical of the Art Deco era. The cameo is beautifully set within a gold-washed brass filigree frame adorned with twisted wire trim. The pin, bar, lock, and ring for chain wear are all in good working order, ensuring its functionality as both a brooch and pendant. This unmarked piece weighs approximately 8 grams and measures about 1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″. The cameo itself is about 1 1/4″ x 7/8″. It’s in very nice condition and showcases the timeless elegance of Art Deco design.
