Vintage 1940s AMCO Gold-Filled Garnet & Pearl Pin (5ctw Bohemian Garnet)
This stunning vintage pin hails from the 1940s and boasts a captivating design featuring a Bohemian cut garnet and a genuine pearl. Marked ‘AMCO, 14K. G.F.’, this 14k gold-filled piece weighs approximately 4.4 grams and showcases a bright gold circle measuring about 1 1/8″ across. The circle is adorned with a distinctive cross hatch pattern and features a gold stem elegantly draped with a creamy genuine pearl measuring approximately 5.8mm. The centerpiece is a rare and unique Bohemian cut garnet, prong-set and faceted to resemble eight smaller stones surrounding a larger center stone, all within one piece. This garnet measures about 10mm or 5 carats. The pin is in excellent condition and functions perfectly, opening and closing securely.
