Vintage 1940s Japanese Faux Pearl Necklace & Dangle Earrings Set
This stunning vintage jewelry set from the 1940s-50s features a faux pearl collar and matching dangle earrings. The unmarked collar, weighing approximately 67.3 grams, boasts a beautiful open graduated diamond pattern with six rows of pearls. It measures approximately 14 1/2 inches in circumference at the neck and 2 1/4 inches in width, draping gracefully around the neckline. Securely fastened with a hook and loop clasp, it remains in excellent condition. The earrings, crafted from silver metal with screw-back closures, are marked “JAPAN” and weigh a combined 8.8 grams. Each earring features a button top adorned with a dangling section featuring three rows of large pear-shaped faux pearls that complement the necklace perfectly. While not stored properly, the earrings remain complete and functional, showcasing minor corrosion on the silver metal.
