Vintage Indonesian Sterling Silver & Mother-of-Pearl Pendant (Jawan Granulation)
This exquisite vintage pendant hails from Indonesia, handcrafted in sterling silver and adorned with a captivating mother-of-pearl cabochon. Marked ‘925, BA’ and ‘Indonesia’, it showcases the artistry of Jawan granulation, where intricate silver wirework delicately covers the bale and pendant body. The centerpiece is an iridescent ivory mother-of-pearl cabochon, measuring 14.8mm in diameter, set within a secure bezel. Weighing approximately 21.2 grams, this pendant measures about 1 3/4″ from the top of the bale to the bottom x 1 1/8″ across x 1/2″ high. The bale accommodates chains up to 3/8″ wide. This stunning piece is in excellent near mint condition, showing minimal wear and perfect working order.
