Vintage J.F. Reynolds H.S. Lancaster PA Scholastic Cufflinks – Gold Filled 1940s-50s Gift
Offered is a remarkable pair of vintage cufflinks dating back to the 1940s-1950s. These exquisite cufflinks are crafted from gold-filled metal, as indicated by the hallmark “1/20 12KT.G.F.” found on the inside of each arm. The set weighs a total of 12.7 grams and features a unique design element: an artist palette marking “A.E.” on the back of each cufflink. Adding to their sentimental value, one cufflink is engraved with “7th Grade” and the other with “8th Grade”. The front of each cufflink boasts a rich gold wash and a raised black enamel plaque in the center. The plaque displays “R, Jr” flanked by “R.F. Reynolds” on either side. Above and below the plaque are the letters “H” and “S”, signifying High School. Completing the design is the inscription “SCHOLASTIC” meticulously engraved across the bottom. These cufflinks are in excellent condition and exemplify the craftsmanship of a bygone era.
