Vintage Scarab Pin | Symmetalic Sterling & 14K Gold Filled, Carnelian, Tiger Eye, Chrysoprase
This beautifully crafted vintage pin dates back to the 1940s or 1950s and is marked on a plaque on the back with “SYMMETALIC, STERLING & 1/20 14K. G.F.”. It weighs approximately 6 grams and measures about 2 1/4″ X 1 1/8″. The design features three gold-tone swirls held together with a fancy tied bow. Three open back prong set scarabs, which I tested and include carnelian, tiger eye, and chrysoprase, are set at the end of one swirl. The pin is in very nice condition and works well, opening and closing easily and securely.
