Antique W & H Gold-Filled Locket FOB with Brilliants & Original Photo – JPB Engraving
This exquisite antique W & H gold-filled locket fob is a captivating piece of jewelry history. The black grosgrain ribbon measures approximately 5 3/4″ x 1 3/8″, adorned with a gold-filled holder featuring a swivel at the top and a buckle-like closure. Hanging from the buckle is a beautiful locket, clearly marked “W&H CO.” inside a heart, signifying Whrightman & Hough. The locket is engraved on the back with “JPB” in ornate letters and opens easily to reveal two picture compartments, one still containing its original celluloid and trim for holding a photograph. The front of the locket is beautifully etched with a lyre design set with six prong-set brilliants. Displaying signs of age, this piece remains in very nice condition and works perfectly. This all-original find is a true treasure.
