Antique 1913 Christmas Postcard – Look Through Design, Hidden Image Reveal
This rare 1913 Christmas postcard features a unique ‘Look Through’ design. Postmarked December 24th, 1913 in Harrisburg, PA, the card boasts a cancelled 3-cent stamp and a handwritten Christmas message. It is printed in Germany and marked “2044”. The front depicts a winter scene with a church illuminated by lights and a large blank space trimmed in holly, titled “Look Through”. When held to strong light, a hidden image of a young couple holding hands while pulling a sleigh becomes visible. This postcard is in very nice condition and represents a great find as these are becoming increasingly rare.
