This vintage Scripto P-3-47 mechanical pencil, dating back to the mid-20th century, is a unique piece of advertising memorabilia. Standing at 4 inches tall, this pencil features a barrel advertising “Henry Reinecke – Importing Distributor – Beer-Ale-Porter” along with their address: 4000 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Penna. The finish on the barrel remains in excellent condition and the metal parts appear to be nickel plated. While the pencil retains its original eraser, it has worn down to the top.
