Lionel Post-War Scout Freight Car Lot (1948-1952) – Parts/Restoration Project
This lot features a collection of Lionel “Scout Cars” O Gauge freight cars from the 1948-1952 era. The group includes the following:
A complete Scout Tender (#1005) that would benefit from cleaning.
A complete Sunoco Single Dome Tanker (#1007).
A Lionel Lines SP Caboose with a missing back roof (#1002).
A complete Lionel 8″ Gondola. Please note there is some rust on the bottom of the tanker car frame. The trucks and couplers have the typical white powdery substance that often affects these cars, which can be easily cleaned with a stiff nylon brush without damage.
