Antique 1920s Italian Art Deco Shell Cameo Brooch/Pendant – Flapper Era Design
This exquisite Antique 1920’s Art Deco Flapper Era Carved Shell Cameo Brooch/Pendant is a remarkable estate find. Marked ‘Made in Italy, 925’, this piece weighs approximately 7.1 grams and measures about 1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″. Designed to be both a pin and a ring, it boasts a unique carved shell cameo depicting a young lady adorned with a quintessential Flapper Era hat. Her short hair is accented by a flower at her ear, and she wears a draped bodice. The cameo is securely bezel set with twisted gold-tone wire trim. While showing signs of gentle wear, this brooch/pendant remains in very nice condition and is ready to be cherished.
