This exquisite antique Victorian locket is crafted from 14K solid gold, weighing approximately 7.8 grams and measuring about 1 1/4″ from the top of the attached ring. Its intrinsic gold value at current market prices is approximately $375.00. The locket features a delicate pie crust (fine beading) border on both its front and back. The front cover displays ornate engraved initials, believed to be “GMC”, while the back boasts a brilliant sparkling diamond, also tested. Inside, two sepia photographs reveal a gentleman and lady, beautifully dressed in period clothing.
