1930 Smoke Screen: Citizens’ Military Training Camp Yearbook – Fort Eustis, VA
This vintage military yearbook, “Smoke Screen”, dates back to 1930 and chronicles the Citizens’ Military Training Camp of the Third Corps Area at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The softback (card stock) cover features a sturdy binding and houses 86 pages filled with text and photographs detailing camp life. Additionally, an eight-page section is dedicated to “Advertisers Who Deserve Your Support”. Measuring 10 3/4″ X 7 3/4″, the yearbook appears complete with all pages present and no notable writing or tears. While the cover remains securely attached, some darkening is visible, along with a hole located in virtually the same spot on both the front and back covers.
