Antique Victorian Carnelian Glass Racehorse Fob – Jockey & Grandstand Scene
This stunning antique Victorian molded carnelian glass fob features a captivating scene of a racehorse and jockey in mid-leap. The intricate detail is beautifully rendered against the backdrop of a grandstand with a waving flag. Crafted from clear carnelian glass, this unmarked piece weighs approximately 7.7 grams and measures about 1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″ to the top of its frame. It’s suspended from a chain with a toggle clasp. In very nice condition, it displays a small edge chip on the back, which is not visible from the front and does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece.
