Georgian Era Enameled Crown or Shilling – Vintage Great Britain Coin (1826)
This exquisite Great Britain Crown or Shilling features intricate enameling work on the reverse and a gold wash applied to the obverse. The coin is beautifully encased in a custom bezel, likely sterling silver, originally protected by thick glass on both sides. While the glass covering the enameled side is unfortunately missing, the craftsmanship of the enameling remains magnificent. The coin shows slight movement within the bezel, which can likely be adjusted for optimal presentation.
