Vintage 1947 Hallmark Christmas Card – Large, Sparkly Snow Village Scene – UNUSED
This vintage Hallmark Christmas card, dated 1947, is a stunning example of early holiday design. Measuring approximately 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, this large card features a snow-covered village scene with a steeple church on the front. The card’s intricate details include sparkling mica snow and metal flecks encased in cellophane to create a captivating visual effect. “Merry Christmas To Someone Very Dear” is inscribed across the top. The card is made from double white stock and secured with a grosgrain ribbon. Backstamped “A Hallmark Card, 1 00 X 3 73-7” and “COPYRIGHT 1947, HALL BROTHERS INC.”, this unsigned card shows signs of gentle yellowing with age but remains in very nice condition.
