Antique 1926 SSAA Basketball Champs Medal & Charm – Brass Teamwork Souvenir
Offered are two antique estate finds, a brass medal and a basketball charm both dating to 1926. The medal, weighing approximately 12.2 grams and measuring 1 inch square, is clearly marked “DORRETY” and “HOOD” with an arrow. The front features ornate raised wings and a basketball, surrounded by the inscription “1926 ALL AROUND TEAMWORK”. The basketball charm bears raised logos for “THE SIGN OF QUALITY” and the Pennsylvania Keystone, engraved with “SSAA CHAMPS 1926”. Both pieces show signs of wear consistent with age, particularly the charm where much of the gold finish has worn away. Despite their age, both items are in good working order.
