Antique Victorian Silver Brooch with Scottish Agate Inlay – Sterling (9.4g)
This stunning antique Victorian silver brooch features exquisite Scottish inlay work. Un-marked but tested as sterling silver, it weighs approximately 9.4 grams and measures about 2″ x 1 3/8″. The frame is beautifully crafted with an etched pattern surrounding banded and assorted shades of agate and bloodstone inlays. It has a working barrel clasp, pin, and C clasp, with an open back design. Six of the seven panels display various stones, while one panel is currently missing its stone. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and it is in very nice condition overall.
