Art Deco Black & Clear Seed Bead Necklace – 1920s Flapper Style Vintage
This stunning Art Deco era necklace is a captivating piece of vintage jewelry from the 1920s. The un-marked necklace features an alluring combination of clear and black seed beads, characteristic of the flapper style. The necklace measures approximately 34 inches long with an additional 4 3/4 inch dangling section. It incorporates various elements including two sections of small clear seed beads (approximately 1.7mm), 3.6mm black seed beads, four 1 1/4″ x 5mm octagon tubes, and four 1″ x 7mm faceted beads, all in black glass. Three round bead-covered beads, each measuring 15.5mm, add further visual interest. The necklace exhibits signs of wear consistent with its age, and the dangling section originally comprised four rows of matching beads; however, one row is currently missing. The beads are in very nice condition and could be easily restrung for a fresh look. This vintage find offers a glimpse into the glamorous fashion of the Art Deco era.
