Vintage Mexico Sterling Silver Modernist Ring with Turquoise, Size 8 #2 Eagle Mark – Estate Find
This vintage sterling silver ring boasts a unique modernist design, marked “Mexico, #2 Eagle Mark” inside the band. While some of the maker’s marks are obscured, the craftsmanship and style are undeniable. The setting features two round silver beads measuring approximately 7.7mm, framing a bezel-set turquoise stone measuring about 3.7mm. On each side of the center stone, loops adorned with tiny silver beads add an extra touch of detail. This ring weighs approximately 2.2 grams and is a size 8. The band measures about 2.6mm wide at its back and exhibits a break in the center. It’s a great example of modernist jewelry from the Spratling era, showcasing the intricate details and bold aesthetic of the period.
