Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Filigree Cameo Brooch – Floral Design, 1920s Style
This exquisite antique Art Nouveau brooch is a stunning example of early 20th-century jewelry craftsmanship. Marked ‘Sterling’ on the rim, it weighs approximately 7.4 grams and measures about 1 1/4″ x 1″. The fancy frame is raised with open sides, intricately adorned with delicate floral motifs and fleur-de-lis accents. A beautifully carved shell cameo is securely set within a bezel, depicting a woman in the style of the 1920s, her hair styled with flowers, wearing a draped bodice also adorned with blossoms. This unique piece was discovered in a large estate collection spanning from approximately 1860 to 1970.
