Vintage 1928 Waltham Ladies Wristwatch – 14K GF Case, 15 Jewels – Restoration Project
This vintage ladies’ Waltham rectangular wristwatch is a unique timepiece waiting for restoration. Originally acquired from a local estate, this fine old watch presents an opportunity for a collector to bring it back to life. While currently wound tight and not running, the balance wheel swings smoothly, indicating good potential for repair. The case is marked “Wadsworth Quality 14K Gold Filled” and features a distinctive fancy pattern on the bezel and edges. The movement is marked “Waltham U.S.A.” and “15 Jewels” with a serial number (26411885) dating it to 1928. The watch face lists as size 7.25L, and both hands are present. A nice black cloth band with “14K” tipped ends is included. The band measures approximately 5 1/2″ around inside.
