This vintage 1940s Keepsake 14K solid gold carved shell cameo ring is a lovely estate find. Clearly marked ’14K, Keepsake’, it weighs approximately 5.9 grams and is a size 5. The gold value alone at today’s market prices is about $212.00. The band measures about 2.3mm wide at the back and 21.7mm x 15.3mm wide at the top or face. Beautifully crafted, it features a lovely pink & white carved shell cameo. The cameo measures approximately 19.6mm x 14.7mm and is quite thick. It is a detailed profile of a young lady with wavy hair and draped bodice. The ring has certainly been worn, is in very nice condition, and ready to wear.
